This is the first Sacramento event for Everylibrary and EveryLibrary California. John Chrastka and Patrick Sweeney will be in Sacramento to talk about politics and libraries and party with local librarians, library workers, and library supporters. We’d love to get you involved in helping to fight for sustainable for libraries in California and across the country while having a good time and networking with like-minded individuals.
We are going to start our night at the Shady Lady at 5pm and move on from there. We are still putting together our schedule of bars, pubs, and attractions, but if you have any ideas, we’d love to hear them so leave a comment below.
As we move around Sacramento, we are going to be updating this event page and our twitter (@everylibrary and @EveryLibraryCA) to let you know where we are at all times. If you can’t make it out at 5pm that’s ok! You can follow along online to find out where to meet this roving party of librarians throughout the night.
Our co-hosts and Sacramento advisers for the evening will be two great local librarians named Nicole Powell and Tiffany Mair. We’ve like to give them a special thanks for their work in making this happen.
If you can’t make it to this event, you can help sponsor our campaign building events with a contribution to EveryLibrary California at http://www.rally.org/everylibrarycalifornia
